General Information

Grades for SHJH are calculated as follows:
Tests 50%, Homework 50%
Cheating/Plagiarism will not be tolerated.  Cheating will result in a grade of zero that cannot be made up and a conference scheduled with parents. Cheating/Plagiarism includes but is not limited to: copying another student’s work/test, finding work online and using it as your own, using phones/cheat sheets on a test without permission
 
Classroom Expectations:

  • Be Prepared- Come to class with everything you need for the day. Keep in mind the things you will need for projects and classwork as well.  The use of earbuds/headphones is allowed only for Spanish listening comprehension activities.

  • Be Prompt- Please be on time. Coming in late is not only a distraction for your fellow students but hinders your learning since you have missed material.

  • Be Productive- Make the most of your time with me. Please do not distract the people around you.  Restroom breaks are only allowed during the last 10 minutes of class.  

  • Be Polite- Respect EVERYONE; teacher, classmates, and substitutes included.  Improper use/damage to chrome books/websites will not be tolerated and will be dealt with as needed.
